an ode (from a greatest fan)

I
an initial glimpse on a passing print;
deserved that second look for a moment;
such lines, a physical phenomenon;
that smile, a great artwork of perfection.

II
infatuation earmarked since day one;
this journey, detailed work in progression;
depth and character, yet more to explore;
a point in time, for now, a space somewhere.

III
the unexplained sense of polarity;
such a strong pull, something greater than me;
worth the package, worth the wait, i do know;
carved in my heart wherever i may go.

…poetry surrounds us everywhere but putting it on paper is , alas!, not so easy as looking at it vincent van gogh
